Log Cabin Weekend

Last weekend we were invited to stay at my aunt and uncle's log cabin. If I remember correctly, the structure was built in 1839 then disassembled in the 1960s and floated down river to be put back together where it stands today. As soon as we pulled in the driveway I knew it was my kind of place!

can you spot Bentley?

clockwise from top left: The name plate from my grandparent's sailboat - they were Bill and Helen Muirhead, lovely vanity drawers, the Eddy Matchbox I made with a seagull pal that I didn't, steep steps going to the 2nd floor, the old Killarney camp painted by family favourite Bruno Cavallo.

The air was crisp and we spent lots of time outside by the water, on the water and even for a quick minute, in the water.
